Gosh! Another very busy weekend…
Saturday 1st October and chauffeur Alan set off in glorious early morning sunshine at 07:50 hours in our drop-dead gorgeous VW Samba, Lily, to Indian Queens for the marriage of Amanda and Steven. Given Lily’s Sioux Falls, South Dakota heritage (infamous Wounded Knee territory), Lily was hoping for a chance encounter with Pocohontas. As it turned out she came very close!!
At mid-day, chauffeur Brett (the Fireman), jumped aboard our show-girl Lola and with lights flashing headed for Penzance to help celebrate the wedding of Emma and Andrew.
Meanwhile chauffer Steff steered our radiant beauty Lulu, up the Atlantic Highway to Tintagel, a very special place of legendary and mystical beauty. It was here that Lulu whisked Nicole to St Michael’s Church at Porthilly for a very magical appointment of her own with Daniel.
During Nicole and Daniel’s ceremony, Lulu made the acquaintance of ‘Dumpy’, a 29 seater coach from King Harry Coaches, seven years her senior. It was a brief encounter which chauffeur Steff managed to capture for posterity with this affectionate snap. We’ve now framed it and hung it on Lulu’s garage wall – don’t they look great together!
