Strawberry Leisure Announce Wedding Show for Children’s Hospice South West

By kind permission of Richard and Caroline Williams, Strawberry Leisure is pleased to announce that the fabulous setting of Scorrier House, Redruth, will be the venue for a major charity wedding show and auction on Sunday, 15th July 2012.

The event is the being organised by Kate and Bob Amos of Strawberry Leisure to raise funds in support of the day to day running costs of Cornwall’s new Children’s Hospice, Little Harbour.

Scorrier House

Kate Amos explains; “we are absolutely thrilled and excited to help facilitate the wedding industry’s involvement in such a wonderful event for a truly worthwhile and heart rendering cause.

Scorrier House has been gifted for the day by the owners, Richard and Caroline Williams, enabling Little Harbour to get the full benefit of exhibitor, auction and admission revenues.

Although still at a very early planning stage, we are determined to ensure the day will be one of true celebration, fun and entertainment. Since mentioning the idea sometime ago on Facebook and our website blog, we have been inundated with offers of help, support and requests to exhibit. So much so, the number of companies wishing to exhibit will clearly outstrip the available space. However, we are naturally keen to ensure that a broad and balanced range of wedding products and services are showcased on the day.

With the event certain to receive full media support, a fabulous venue with easy access and plenty of on-site parking, it’s already shaping up to be a great news day!”

The Children’s Hospice South West is also Strawberry Leisure’s chosen charity for 2012 and they will be making a generous donation for every wedding transport booking received in 2012.

The Children’s Hospice South West Wedding Show will take place at Scorrier House, Redruth, TR16 5AU, on Sunday 15th July 2012 from 11am to 4pm. Admission £3, children free.
