We were in St Ives again today for the small but intimate wedding of Simon and Kelly. The Wedding party consisted of the Bride and Groom (Simon and Kelly), Kelly’s Mum and Dad (Paul and Wendy), Kelly’s daughter and flower girl (Arabella), Best man and partner (Jez and Clare) and Simon and Kelly’s son and pageboy (Ethan).

Roger and Lily arrived at 10.45am in Fore Street, St Ives to collect Kelly, Paul and Wendy, Clare and Arabella. It was only a very short trip to the Guildhall but when they arrived a lady came out to let them know that the registrar was running 30-45 minutes late and asked if we could do a lap of the town – not ideal for the ceremony but at least they had a longer ride in Lily!

Roger took them to the slip on the seafront and parked up for 15 minutes. While they were waiting he overheard Kelly speaking to her Mum in the back and saying that the delay was going to totally ruin her day. The plan had been to go to Porthcurno beach after the ceremony for photographs before heading over to Mousehole for their meal. They had to be at The Old Coastguard before 2pm as they stopped serving food. So Roger agreed to wait for them while they had their meal and then take them to the beach afterwards for their much sought after photos. This meant adding on an extra couple of hours to his day but he knew it was important to them and would really make their day.

And here are those pictures – gorgeous!
