Weddings

We offer a truly professional, ‘customer facing’ service, and, because we recognise that it is your very special day, we are totally flexible and accommodating in what we can do for you. The result is a uniquely tailored service wrapped around your uniquely special day.

Providing it is logistically possible, we can incorporate whatever you want into a personal bespoke package.

In reality, it is difficult to refer to ‘standard packages’ when it comes to something as special as your wedding. Remember its your day and you are entitled to play it just the way you want to…

You may want just a simple pickup and drop off at the church or registery office, or indeed, a full day’s use right through to the evening reception.

Should you choose a whole day’s hire we charge for the day rather than an hourly rate. Our charges are inclusive of fuel for up to an 80 mile round trip from our base here in the Bay of St Ives, after which we make a small charge.

Whatever your desired format for the day, Lola, Lulu, Lily, Mr Darcy or even all four if required, will be there to greet you; each splitscreen has beautiful feature double doors and side step. Following the ceremony we include a complimentary bottle of champers which can be enjoyed whilst travelling to the reception or on the way to one of Cornwall’s beauty spots for more pictures.

Here at Strawberry Leisure, we are proud of Lola, Lulu, Lily and Mr Darcy - they are royalty after all! Accordingly, we will stay for as long as needed. Thus avoiding the usual hurried moments as the photographer is trying to fit in the all important vehicle posed pictures, as we are delighted for the bride and groom to be snapped in and around our photogenic beauties. Don’t forget Lola and Lily both have rare full-length ragtops (sunroofs) which make for some really memorable shots as you can stand up in them!

So please remember that we will do our utmost to accommodate your wishes. We are happy to spend as much time as is necessary with you to fully understand your needs and assist in any way we can in planning the coolest and most memorable of journeys.

2011 is going to be a good year for Strawberry Leisure. The demand is so high for our fabulous splitties, we’ll be popping a whopping number of bottles of lovely bubbly with our lucky couples this year!

Rather than splash out on our own vineyard, to keep up with demand we have commissioned our very own champagne. Seriously!

With case after case of the finest Mont Hauban, sitting here looking at us waiting to be quaffed, can we resist everything other than temptation?

Other Special Occasions

Through special arrangements with our insurers we are now able to offer our acclaimed chauffeur driven VW’s for other special occasions…

School Proms

These are the events to be seen so why not arrive in the coolest of styles in our stunning, chauffeur driven VW’s.

A one way local trip within 30 miles of our TR27 5JS Hayle base for up to six lucky VIP’s including, balloons, music, soft drinks and lasting up to 2 hours inclusive of photo time will cost only £350 (less than £59 per person based on six passengers). There are no added extras such as VAT etc.

Collection can be arranged if required for an additional charge.

 Memorable restaurant visits

How about a chauffeur driven two-way trip for up to six lucky VIP’s to discover the gastronomic delights of a top local restaurant within a 15 mile radius of our TR27 5JS Hayle base?

Lola, Lulu, Lily or Mr Darcy can pick you up on a one hour split return trip (up to 40 minutes each way).

Included in the price of £350 is a time allowance of 3 hours between delivery and collection. After which a waiting charge of £50 per hour applies.

There is no VAT to pay on top of our charges.

Other events

Don’t forget similar arrangements can be made for theatre and cinema visits plus a whole host of other events and special nights out!
