Lola sure is a popular girl!

She gets interviewed on the radio, requests from the BBC and plenty of magazine photo calls. No, we are not talking about a top UK fashion model but our 1964 classic VW splittie called Lola!

It seems like only a few days have passed since we were at Sennen Cove on a photo shoot for a new Cornish fashion company and here we are today on another photo call for a well known surfing charity, Surfers Against Sewage (SAS).

Lola will be appearing in their new clothing catalogue in the autumn.

Our gorgeous and much in demand splittie, Lola, recently took a brief break from her busy wedding duties to rub shoulders with one of the UK’s top up-coming fashion models at Cornwall’s Sennen Cove.
For the uninitiated, Sennen Cove is one of West Cornwall’s surfing hotspots, and like many places in this awe-inspiring county, stunningly beautiful!  

For a couple of days in April it was also home to an important photo shoot for a new and inspirational fashion company based here in Cornwall.

Created by Helen Davies, EKO Sense is a Cornish clothing label which aims to promote a healthy and organic lifestyle whilst combining sustainable fashion and new eco fibres to create unique and wearable garments. 

We wish Helen well in her new venture and were only too pleased to take our photogenic 45 year old model along for a slice of the action.

Who’s that hiding behind the flag?

Looking absolutely stunning and glistening in the spring sunshine at Flambards Wedding Fayre, Lola (and most probably my reflective head) grabbed the attention of Pirate FM’s Bob McCreadie.

Naturally he was full of praise for our Lola. He didn’t have too much to say about my interview skills though!
